Builditapp.com is an older site that was left without updates for some time. In summer 2026 it relaunched with a new 3D viewer, so the earlier problems we described before, such as the site being abandoned and not being able to cancel the premium plan, have been fixed. However, the new 3D viewer is currently only available for a small part of the catalog. Most of the 370+ builds are still the old classic step-by-step tutorials, which can be hard to follow for larger buildings, and a large share of them are small decorations, furniture and portals rather than full structures. The new version is still marked as Early Access.
Buildguides.net has a comprehensive layer-by-layer 3D viewer for every blueprint, with useful features such as the ‘Measure Mode’. Blueprints can be viewed from all angles and you can build at your own pace, without needing an account to get started.
While Builditapp.com has a focus on houses and decorations, Buildguides.net also offers larger builds such as the Grand Survival Base, the Big Medieval Castle or the Grand Medieval Manor, each with the full layer-by-layer 3D viewer.
In conclusion, while Builditapp.com has improved and can work well, Buildguides.net is a very good alternative with easy-to-follow instructions for every blueprint and helpful tools for building your dream Minecraft world.
